To provide essential funding and support for the relocation and resettlement of 2SLGBTQIA+ asylum seekers, refugees, and newcomers, ensuring they find safety, freedom, and a welcoming community in Canada.
The future of our foundation is bright. In a world without equality, we will continue to commit ourselves to ending global 2SLGBTQI+ persecution. As our foundation grows, we will have more chances to spread awareness towards our cause and fund more pathways to safety.
However, this isn’t possible without you. We are a charity and we rely on donations and volunteers to survive. Rainbow Foundation of Hope started as a small group of citizens in Vancouver that privately sponsored a gay Syrian couple as a Circle of Hope co-sponsored by Rainbow Refugee. Led by Carl Meadows, the group went on to found RFOH in 2014 which became a registered charity in 2015.
Since then, RFOH focuses on fundraising strategies to support the efforts of caring and compassionate Canadians within a national network of civil society groups.
