“I want to help out and contribute to communities that are important to me. I believe it is unfair that some of us don’t have the same rights as others purely on the basis of gender identity. I know that RFOH strives to foster equality and I am very grateful I get to volunteer with them.”

Learning about the disproportionate struggle and violence members of the 2SLGBTQI+ face has been eye-opening. No matter their gender identity, everyone deserves a chance to feel safe and to thrive in their communities. This is why I volunteer with RFoH, in hopes of making a positive impact in the lives of 2SLGBTQI+ people at risk.”
